In recent years, Confindustria Assafrica&Mediterraneo has signed more than twenty agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with business associations, chambers of commerce and investment promotion agencies of countries in Africa and the Middle East, in order to promote and strengthen economic, industrial and trade cooperation with these regions. These strategic partnerships aim to foster mutual sharing of business and investment opportunities as well as information on administrative, tax and customs procedures. The agreements between Confindustria and the corresponding African and Middle Eastern trade associations, in addition to representing an institutional showcase of economic diplomacy, contribute to the reciprocal knowledge of enterprises and the construction of collaboration networks and sharing of know-how between them.
